    I designed my first dress!

    The idea started out as a nightgown; I wanted it to be loose, and cozy, and super soft. As we went through rounds of revisions, we finally got to the style and fabric that felt perfect - and I found myself wanting to wear it ALL the time (it has POCKETS).

    So, it’s evolved into a day dress that is just so comfy that you can wear it to bed. We’re calling it The Aurora Dress.

    This super soft, 100% organic cotton dress has gorgeous mother of pearl buttons that catch the light just right. It’s not only comfy but totally sustainable—made in India by a manufacturer that’s all about ethical production. The cotton is traceable and fairly traded, and they use low-impact processes along with recycled packaging, so you can feel good about every part of it. Even our poly bags are 100% recyclable.

  • Sizing Details

    Our lifestyle model Hannah is 5’9” with a 32" Bust, 25" Waist, and 36" Hips, and wearing size S.

    Our 2nd lifestyle model Rachel is 5'5" with a 42" Bust, 37" Waist, and 42" Hips, and is wearing a size L.

    Our studio model Emily is 5’2 with a 35.5" Bust, 29" Waist, and 39.5" Hips, and wearing size S.

    Measuring Guide:

    Chest Circumference:
    Measure around the body under your arms 1” below your armpit.

    Bust Circumference:
    Measure around the body at the largest part of the bust.

    Waist Circumference:
    Measure around the smallest part of your waistline, about 14” down from the top of your shoulder.

    Front Length:
    Measured from top of chest where the lace detailing begins to the bottom of the dress excluding ruffle.



    Size Guide:

    S: 33” Chest, 39” Bust, 44” Waist, 35.5” Length
    M: 35” Chest, 41” Bust, 45.5” Waist, 36.5” Length
    L: 37.5” Chest, 42.5” Bust, 47.5” Waist, 37.5” Length

    Please note that waist measurement is at its largest, and is intended to be cinched for fit.

  • Care Instruction

    If you'd like to your piece to last, we recommend you adhere to the following care instructions:

    • Wash only with similar colors

    • Machine wash on cold water setting

    • Be sure not to bleach

    • Tumble dry on low heat setting

    • If necessary, iron on low heat settings

    • Do not dry clean

  • Shipping and Returns

    Unless otherwise indicated above, products will be shipped within 3-5 business days of your order being placed. You will receive a confirmation email once your product has been shipped. With the exception of our coffee products, all items are eligible for exchange or 100% refund. Returned items must be received at our facilities in new and unused condition to be eligible.     Day dress....

    This beautiful Aurora dress made of organic cotton made me realize why Hannah was aiming to be a nightgown. Extremely comfortable super soft cotton it just wants you to exist in it and enjoy life. It defines fine beautiful things in life. It comes comes in two colors cream and brown (love the brown color as well). This dress has wide lace shoulder straps, three button and accent, with waist tie for your liking, pockets, and the ruffle bottom.

    When enjoying this as a day dress, consider molten convertible necklaces, gold, or silver.... there are no rules on how to wear it.... short, long or any other way you like it. Just enjoy. My preference is the long way.

    There're new standards emerging here, so I look forward to future creations.

    Whimsical

    I have loved this dress ever since Hannah started wearing it.

    So when she announced it was going to be available to purchase I just HAD to have one. When the tiny box came I thought there is no way this contained the Aurora dress. Low and behold what a surprise I got upon opening! I immediately thought of Hannah's way of packing light and this dress hit the spot.

    I purchased the medium friar brown and the fit is fantastic. I am always hot & we burn a wood cookstove, so finding pj's is hard for me but this dress fits my every wish. Thank you Hannah for what you do and for Lupine Lane!

    I feel like a princess

    I am 5’ 3” 119 lbs and 58 years old. I purchased size small in both colors. The material is just as soft as Hannah described them, so comfortable, I can see myself sleeping in them. Yet I feel so romantically pretty I can’t wait to wear them around town. Tried them on with a sweater and boots, so cute for fall. Then sneakers and a white cardigan for spring and then just barefoot for summer. I can’t wait to see her next creation.

    Beautiful and soft!

    I love this dress. It is so soft and the lace detail is beautiful. Wore it to Thanksgiving this year with boots and a cardigan and got a lot of compliments!

    Fit is a little off

    I’m a bustier person and this fabric has no stretch. So the top is tight and the tie comes right under my chest which isn’t very flattering. It does have nice details and the pockets are awesome but overall not expecting to wear this much.
